This vertical is a real exception to how every other trade on this site handles cost, though: a charter operator's own published rate card is a legitimate primary price source, because Niagara charter pricing is genuinely set and published per-operator rather than government-regulated. Two currently-operating Port Dalhousie operators publish real rates below, graded honestly by how directly each was sourced.

Fishin' Clinician Charters, published rates

Fishin' Clinician Charters, operating out of Port Dalhousie Pier Marina, publishes its own rates directly on its own site. The 25 foot KingFisher, up to 5 people, runs $800 for a half day (5 hours) and $1,200 for a full day (8 hours). The 36 foot Trojan Express, up to 6 people, runs $1,000 for a half day and $1,500 for a full day, with additional guests beyond 6 at $100 each up to 8 people maximum. All rates are quoted per boat, not per person, and rods, reels, terminal tackle, fish cleaning and filleting are included in the stated price. A second real, currently-operating Port Dalhousie operator confirms its business and its 40 foot Tiara vessel on its own site, but that site's own pages publish no dollar figure directly. The available rate instead comes from a third-party booking-aggregator listing for the same operator: CA $880 per boat for up to 4 people on a 3/4-day (6-hour) Lake Ontario trip, April 10 through October 31, plus CA $75 per additional guest beyond 4. Because this figure comes from a booking aggregator rather than a page confirmed to be the operator's own publication, it is graded lower than the Fishin' Clinician rate above and should be treated as representative but unverified at the source, not a confirmed current operator price.

Who is actually licensed to run the boat

The credential that governs who may legally run a Niagara Lake Ontario fishing charter is federal, not provincial, and materially different from the Pleasure Craft Operator Card a private boater carries. Transport Canada's Small Vessel Operator Proficiency certificate lets its holder operate a vessel up to 5 gross tonnage, or serve as master of a fishing vessel up to 15 gross tonnage or 12 metres, in near coastal and sheltered waters. A Pleasure Craft Operator Card does not qualify a person to operate a vessel carrying paying passengers.
